All-China Patent Attorneys Association (hereinafter referred to as ACPAA) was founded on December 12, 1988. It is a nationwide and non-profit self-disciplinary social organization established with the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and supervised by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
The Objects of ACPAA
ACPAA adheres to the overall leadership of the Communist Party f China. The objects of ACPAA are:
- To unite members to be loyal to the undertaking of patent representation and strictly abide by the professional ethics and discipline;
- To safeguard the interests of the profession and the legitimate rights and interests of members;
- To reinforce the self-discipline of the profession, strengthen the rules of professional conduct, improve the service of patent representation and other related practice, and promote high-quality development of the patent representation profession, so as to build an intellectual property power, and make active contributions to accelerating the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy, building a modern socialist country in all respects and advancing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts.
ACPAA abides by the Constitution, laws, regulations and national policies, practices the core socialist values, promotes patriotism, abides by social morality and consciously strengthens the construction of integrity and self-discipline.
The Organization of ACPAA
The General Assembly is the decision-making body of ACPAA. The Secretariat of ACPAA is the permanent office responsible for daily operation of ACPAA. The 11th General Assembly was held on June 12, 2024, on which 237 Council Members, 79 Standing Council Members, 1 President, 15 Vice Presidents and 1 Secretary General were elected.
